Faculty of Religion

Welcome to the Faculty of Religion directed by Emet v'Ohr Yeshiva Academy at Royal Covenant University, a place where faith, understanding, and scholarly exploration converge. Our faculty is comprised of dedicated scholars and educators passionate about examining religious phenomena within broad historical and cultural contexts.

We are particularly focused on the in-depth exploration of the three Abrahamic religions - Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Our curriculum seeks to explore the origins, texts, belief systems, practices, and cultural impacts of these interconnected faiths. Our courses equip students with a rich understanding of these traditions, their similarities and differences, and their profound influence on human civilization.

Our objective extends beyond academic learning; we aim to foster mutual respect, empathy, and understanding amongst diverse faiths and cultures. By examining these religions and their complex interrelationships, students are encouraged to engage in critical thinking, meaningful discussions, and personal reflections on their beliefs.

Service is a cornerstone of our program. We guide our students in applying their knowledge and understanding of these faiths in ways that have a positive impact on their communities, emphasizing the shared values of compassion and kindness central to all three traditions.

We invite you to join us on this intellectual and spiritual journey. Dive into the exploration of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam with us and contribute to a deeper, multifaceted understanding of faith and its role in the global community.
